LEGAL NOTICE Public Hearing Notice Northwest Alabama Council of Local Governments (NACOLG) is applying to the Alabama Department of Transportation for an administrative, operat- ing and capital assistance grant under 49 U.S.C. Section 5311 of the Federal Transit Laws, as codified. Grant application amount is $346,348. The operating grant will provide financial assistance for public transportation service for the residents of Colbert, Lauderdale, Franklin, Winston and Marion counties during FY 2016. The service currently operates Monday through Friday; all residents, including wheelchair users, must schedule service by 3:00 p.m. the previous business day. Copies of the detailed service description, proposed changes, and project budget may be obtained at the NACOLG transit system office, 103 Student Dr., Muscle Shoals between 8 a.m. 4:30 p.m. A public hearing will be held on July 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Hamilton City Hall Auditorium, 422 2nd St. SW, Hamilton for public comment. This program of projects will be final unless amended.
