Carolyn Joyce Weatherly, 78, of the Whitehouse community, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Carma and Lucinda Westbrooks Self, and a member of Whitehouse Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Whitehouse Church of Christ in the Whitehouse Community with Vance Hutton and Byron Longcrier officiating. Mrs. Weatherly will lie in state 10 a.m. - 11 a.m., prior to the service at the church with burial in Whitehouse Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gary Weatherly; children, Susan Sims, her husband John; Laura James, her husband Brad and Kay Weatherly; grandchildren, Carrie Webb, Cassie Webb, Caeley Webb, Will Sims, Emma James, David Sims and RayAnna James.
