Jerry Dwane Potter

Mr. Jerry Dwane Potter, 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in Huntsville after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was a native of Franklin County and a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church in Russellville.
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville from noon until 2 p.m. His funeral will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jim Lumpkin officiating. Burial will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Russellville. Pallbearers will be Matthew McGuigan, Josh Potter, J.D. Potter, Mark Potter, Larry
Mitchell and Jamie Potter. Honorary pallbearer is Nathan Potter.
Surviving Mr. Potter are his wife, Lynda J. Potter, of Huntsville; children, Kim Potter McGuigan and husband Mark, of Huntsville and Barry Potter and his wife Dori, of Cullman; siblings, Mavis Snider (Tommy), Carolyn Mitchell (O.D.), Faye McFarland, Joann Pounders (Charles), Rita Pennington, Jimmy Potter (Lynda) and Mike Potter (Ginger) and grandchildren, Sara McGuigan, Matthew McGuigan, Nathan Potter and Emma Potter. Nieces, nephews, and friends also survive him.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Claude and Margaret Louise Potter, and siblings, Marie Alexander, Leon Potter, Linda Nell Robledo and Kathy Blasingame.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
