WJ Hornsby, 83, Phil Campbell, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at North Alabama Medical Center.
Mr. Hornsby retired from Reynolds Metal. He loved the outdoors and sitting on his porch swing.
WJ is survived by his children, Barry Hornsby (Dawn) and Regina Stancil (Brian); grandchildren, Brooke Lakey (Bret), Bridget Landers (Justin), Brad Hornsby, Haley Hornsby, Amber Burcham, Jacob Milan and Megan Milan, as well as four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Hornsby; parents, James W. and Mildred Hornsby; brother, Vernon Hornsby and sister, Louise Smith.
He always kept a card in his billfold saying, “Lord, have your angels every day watch and guide us on our way.”
The family would like to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
