Addison Rescue Squad gets new vehicle

ADDISON - A major need for the Addison Rescue Squad has been met, thanks to a recent community donation combined with rescue squad fundraiser proceeds to purchase a newer, more reliable vehicle.
“The truck has been in need for a few years now,” pointed out Terry Poynter, current rescue squad president.
The white truck the rescue squad has been using as Rescue 1 has faced its share of mechanical problems, he said.
