Nelda June Gaines, 78, of Bear Creek, passed away Wednesday April 24, 2024. She was a member of Hines Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. The funeral service will be at 12 p.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Ricky Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Hines Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, James (Irene) Hicks, Denice (Ron) Harper and Tonya Alexander; brother, Oneal Cagle; grandchildren, Bryan Hacker, Derrick Hicks, Shavonna Baldwin, Megon Hicks, Danielle Hicks, Jordan Harper, Kylie Box, Josh Cagle, Taylor Miller and Noah Osborn; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lonnie Cagle and Lela Jane McKissack Cagle; husband, Gary Lee Gaines; and brother, Ray Joe Cagle.
