Coleman Leo Powell, 85, of Addison, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on March 31, 1939 to Noah Powell and Gearldean Pratt. Coleman was a lifelong farmer; he raised cattle and chickens. He loved to work and enjoyed going to the cattle sale. Coleman loved to tell stories, joke and tease.
Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2024 from 12-2 p.m. at Addison Church of God, where his funeral will follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Rodney Ridgeway officiating. Burial will be in Enmonfield Cemetery.
Coleman is survived by his wife of 21 years, Edith Powell; daughter, Cindy Davis (David); granddaughter, Stephanie Morrow (Taylor); stepsons, John James and Greg James (Tina); step-grandchildren, Alison James, Alex James (Ally), Micah James (Debrina), Daiel James and Elina James; great-grandchildren, Coleman Morrow and Scarlett Morrow; step-great-grandchildren, Sayre Robinson, Ella Grace James and Charleigh James; sister, Martha Hyatt (Gary), sister-in-law, Latrelle Powell and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Rebecca Ann Powell; daughter, Tammy Powell; parents, Noah and Geraldean Powell and brother, Hollis Powell.
