Charles Elmer Thrasher, 92, of Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his residence.
He was born October 5, 1931 to John and Vernie Thrasher.
Visitation will be Monday, May 13, 2024 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from noon until 2 p.m., where his funeral will begin at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be at Winston Memorial in Haleyville. Brother Cegal Reems will officiate.
Charles is survived by his son, Tommy (Dinah) Thrasher; granddaughters, Mary Grace Camp, Mikayla Lee Camp and Renate’ Wellington; grandson, Blake Evetts; great-grandchildren, Harper Wellington, Marshall Wellington, Remi Wellington and Brees Evetts; like son and daughter, James and Rhonda Glenn and nephew, Ricky Thrasher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Truby Thrasher; son, Steve Thrasher; daughter, Barbara Thrasher; father, John Thrasher; mother, Verni Thrasher and brother, Bobby Thrasher.
