Velma Louise Heath Edwards, 101, of Haleyville, AL. passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at her home. She was a member of Haleyville Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Her funeral will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Jeff Boyles officiating. Burial to follow in Littleville Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Charles Lee Edwards, Janis Edwards Cole, Joan Edwards Logan and Douglas Hugh Edwards (wife Linda); sisters, Nina Allen and Pauline Mancuso; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Heath and Anna Shelnutt Heath; husband, Andrew Jackson Edwards; sons, Veto Edwards and Billy Edwards and brothers, Lenard, Lester, Junior, Roy and Paul Heath.
