James "Jimmy" Herman Masdon, 87, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was retired from the manufactured housing industry. He was a member of Haleyville Masonic Lodge #464 and a member of First Baptist Church-Haleyville.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Haleyville. His memorial service will begin at 2 p.m., with Bro. Nathan Carroll officiating. Pinkard Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Mize Masdon; children, Susie Masdon Link (Jim), Jenny Masdon Hollimon (Chris) and Jimmy Lee Masdon (Rebecca); brothers, Sam Masdon (Amy), Bob Masdon (Pam) and Mike Masdon (Linda); grandchildren, Caroline Link McLean (Peter), Mary Katherine Link, Patrick Link, Madelyn Link, Meredith Link, Andrew McCarley, Alexandra McCarley Wingo (Luke), Griffin McCarley (Allison), William Masdon and Avery Masdon and great-grandchildren, James McLean, Masdon McLean, Margaret McLean, Patton Wingo, Madeline Wingo, Kennedy McCarley and Bennett McCarley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel L. and Ella Fair Baughn Masdon and sister, Myra Masdon
