Billy Ray McDonald, 86, of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026. He attended CrossWay Church in Haleyville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. His funeral will begin at 12 p.m., with Sammy Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Cherry Hill Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Wanda McDonald; children, Terry, Sr. and Patsy McDonald, Teresa and Randy Sims, Cindy and Ricky Mitchell, Mark McDonald, Billie Jo McDonald and Glen and Amy Cooley; siblings, Jackie McDonald and Jimmy McDonald; grandchildren, Misty, Terry Jr., Andrea, Mindy, Keshia, Ashley, Carissa, Dustin Glen Ray, Kandice and Seth Lee; great-grandchildren, Desmond, Bethany, Alaina, Virginia, Kaitlyn, Jayden, Allie Grace, Colton, Teagan, Lakelynn, Allie, Wrenley, Paxlee, Olivia Blayke and Mathew Lee and great-great-grandchildren, Chandler and Greyson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Vera McDonald; siblings, Wilburn McDonald and Judy Turner; grandchild, Kolton Kelley and great-grandchild, Chandler Thompson.
