Michael Wayne Hood, 74, of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026. He is the son of the late Hubert and Joyce Ruth Berry Hood. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Pinkard Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy Hood (Ashley Bradford), Cyndi (Jason) Wilson, Kevin (Alissa) Hood and Stefanie (Steve) Bevis; brother, Boyce Hood; grandchildren, Maddox Hood, Presley Hood, Elizabeth Testerman and Lexie Donaldson and great-grandchild, Kaizleigh Bradford.
