Helen Atkins Kennedy, 96, of Haleyville, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026. She was a member of Whitehouse Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 12-1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Her funeral will begin at 1 p.m., with Vance Hutton and Byron Longcrier and Sydney Kennedy speaking. Burial will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Ms. Kennedy is survived by her son, Randy Kennedy and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Zella Orieta Atkins; husband, Grady Kennedy; sons, Danny Kennedy, James Kennedy and Kenneth Kennedy and siblings, Jerald Thomas Atkins, Rachel Layton and Willow Dean Barnett.
