DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Winston County Extension Office will be hosting a free workshop on avoiding identity theft Tuesday, March 10, at 9:30 a.m. At this time, the workshop is scheduled to take place at the Double Springs Community Center, but the location may change depending on the number of people who register. If the location changes, those who register will be contacted about the change in venue.
Topics will include defining identity theft, how it happens, warning signs of it, medical identity theft and credit reports. The instructor will be Regional Extension Agent Pat Smith.
