Reagan faces manslaughter charge in death of ex-boyfriend

ADDISON - Sherry Dianne Reagan, 58, of 220 County Road 3730, was arrested by the Winston County Sheriff's Office Friday, March 2, facing charges of manslaughter in the death of her ex-boyfriend Gary Kenneth Aderholt, 61, who sustained injuries allegedly caused by Reagan during a domestic altercation that occurred at her residence. Aderholt was transported from the residence by Regional Paramedical Service ambulance to Cullman Regional Medical Center then transferred to UAB, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Winston County Sheriff's Office. Reagan has also been charged in a separate matter with possession of marijuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation is ongoing, and sheriff's officials are not disclosing the device used to cause the injuries or the types of injuries that Aderholt sustained. *When a defendant is charged with a crime, the charge is merely an accusation until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
