Ms. Courington was a homemaker and was the caregiver to her mother, Lucy Bagwell, for 14 years. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She loved eating popcorn every night and watching Wheel of Fortune. The shows she loved to watch were: Dr. Pol, Alaska: The Last Frontier, Mountain Men and Life Below Zero.
She loved being a die-hard Auburn fan and going to the games all these years. The one thing she loved the most was going out to eat and spending time with her family. She always made sure her family knew she loved them and that their Lord and Savior loved them, too.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Jesse Ray Courington; her parents, CA and Lucy Bagwell; great-grandchild Ava Claire Bryan and sisters, Geneva Strickland, Frances Cummings and Delours Bagwell.
Ms. Courington is survived by her children, Carol (Stan) Bryan and Tim Courington; grandchildren, Brandi (Jamie) Davis, Shae ( Kevin) Adkins and Clay (Courtney) Bryan; great-grandchildren, Alandis McDaniel, Adalyn Bryan and Jack Bryan; brother Bobby (Linda) Bagwell and a host of nieces and nephews.

We would also like to thank Dr. Reddy and the staff at Family Medical Associates for showing so much love and care over the years.
