Madge Lee White, 83, of the Helicon community, entered into rest on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at CRMC.
Mrs. White was born on May 26, 1937 in Winston County. She was a graduate of the Class of 1955 at Meek High School and a lifelong member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was an avid Auburn football fan, Atlanta Braves baseball fan, as well as a big fan of NASCAR. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in the Helicon community, where her funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brothers Mark Brown and Greg Dollar will officiate.
Madge is survived by her son, Darian White; daughter, Teresa Elliott; grandchildren, Michael Bowen, Shannon Hill Marks and her husband Daniel, Tracey Bowen Sansing and her husband Josh, Levi Henson, Dylan Henson and Dustin Overton and his wife Shayla; great-grandchildren, Lacey Hill, Keith Marks, Gavin Marks, Molly Bowen, Hazilee Sansing, Kameron Bowen, Kelsi Bowen, Kambree Overton, Kinzlee Overton and Gabriel Overton; nephew, Wayne Denson and his wife Shirley and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Theo White; brother, Hubert (Rosie) Adams, Hobert (Onzell) Brown, Herbert (Colleen) Brown, Harold (Mildred “Mug”) Brown and Clovis (Bertha) Adams; sisters, Minnie (Benton) Denson and Mildred (Allen) Hayes and daughter-in-law, Danita White.
