Local students named to UA dean’s and president’s lists

WINSTON COUNTY - The following local students were named to the dean’s and president’s lists for the University of Alabama for the fall semester:
Persons making the president’s list, which required having an academic record of 4.0, or all A’s, is as follows:

Hailey Alton and Oakley Gilbreath, both of Double Springs; Joseph Miller and Lauran Wilcoxson, both of Haleyville.

Persons making the dean’s list, which requires having an academic record of 3.5 or above, but less than 4.0, are as follows:

Reagan Smothers and Trace Thompson, both of Addison; Austin Bowling, of Arley; Margaret Allen, Brayden Cagle, Mary Evans, Margaret McGough, Alexander Mobley, Mallory Rushing and Nicholas Sadler, all of Haleyville; Jamison Hanley, of Houston and Chloe Crowe, of Lynn.
