Gruenberg granted parole

WINSTON COUNTY - The Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles granted parole to Damion Taylor Gruenberg during his parole hearing Tuesday, June 28.

Gruenberg had been sentenced in January to 4 years in prison on receiving stolen property first degree, receiving stolen property second degree and first degree marijuana possession charges out of Marion County.  He was also serving a concurrent 36-month sentence out of Winston County on possession of or receiving a Class D controlled substance.

Gruenberg has been housed at the Limestone Correctional Center.
