William Leon Frost, Sr, 81, of Tuscumbia, formerly of Franklin County, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his home. He was retired from the Douglas County Ga. Board of Education as an administrator and attended Tuscumbia Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, June 5, 2023 from noon - 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will be at at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with Bill Reeves officiating. Burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in the Oak Grove community in Franklin County.
He is survived by his son, Bill Frost; sister, Linda Jones and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Alexander Frost and Buna Mae Porter Frost; wife, Sandra Gresham Frost; daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Frost and brother, Lloyd Frost.
