Deaths of Cullman County men found near Haleyville under investigation

HALEYVILLE -  Investigation is underway to determine the cause of death of two Cullman County men whose bodies were discovered Wednesday, Nov. 8, in a vehicle parked off County Road 17 on an old logging road near Haleyville, law enforcement said.
The bodies of Rico Rondarius Tannehill, 29, and Braxton Rayshad Thomas, 30, were found in a dark gray colored 2013 Chevrolet Impala, one in the front seat, the other in the back seat, according to Winston County Sheriff’s officials.
The bodies were transported from the scene by the Winston County Coroner’s office and have been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science to determine their causes of death, sheriff’s investigators said.

The Winston County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the events surrounding their disappearance and deaths. 

"I would like to thank the Cullman County Sheriff's Office for their assistance with this case.  I wish the families of the deceased my deepest condolences and prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved ones,"  Winston County Sheriff Caleb Snoddy said.
