ALEA states all county roads in Winston County still impassable

WINSTON COUNTY - Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency released a statement Friday morning, January 19, just after 7 a.m. , stating that all county roads in Winston and Marion counties are still impassable.  As of 7 a.m., temperatures were officially below freezing at 28 degrees, which will not allow any remaining ice to melt and can refreeze any ice that did melt yesterday.

First responders have had to respond to multiple accidents across the county due to the ice.  ALEA is asking motorists to use caution if they have to travel.
