Bobby Neil Nelson, 84, of Hayden, formerly of Double Springs, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Folsom Rehabilitation Center in Cullman.
He was born January 9, 1940 to Ernest and Velma Jo Nelson.
Family will receive friends Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 12- 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church at Kelly Mill in Double Springs, where his memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be at the adjoining cemetery. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Bobby is survived by his daughter, Leslie Nelson; granddaughter, Brooke Nelson and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Velma Jo Nelson; sister, Wanda Wright; brother, G.G. Nelson and daughter, Scottie Ann Nelson.
