Audrey Mae "Tootsie" Clark, 86, of Haleyville, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 22, 1938 to Henry Elven "Doc" and Gracie Lorene Cagle. Tootsie loved reading her Bible, listening to gospel music, collecting cookbooks and working on puzzle books. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Hank Williams- and was a movie lover! Tootsie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her family were her life. Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2025 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from 6 - 9 p.m., where her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Botush Cemetery. Brother Danny Page will officiate.
Audrey is survived by her son, Willie Elven (Brenda) Clark; daughter, Darlene (Gene) Seal; grandchildren, Stephen (Misty) Clark, Karen (Bobby) Mims, Kelley (Jon) Orman, Amie Speakman and Kesha (Jarrod) Tidwell; 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O.B. "Red" Clark; parents, Henry "Doc" and Gracie Cagle; siblings, Anna Lois "Sis" Ward, Henry Lehman "Buddy" Cagle and Odie Ray Cagle and three great-grandchildren.
