Russell Edward "Eddie" Knight, 73, of Moulton, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Eddie was born January 15, 1952 to William and Gladys Knight. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving race cars and riding motorcycles. He was a talented mechanic and truck driver, but most of all, he was a devoted husband to his wife, Martha.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where his funeral will be held at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in the Helicon community. Brother Michael Walker will officiate.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 23 years, Martha Knight; grandchildren, Jesse Marie Hampton, Roman Chase Guthrie and Ashley Marie Smith and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William D. and Gladys Lee Knight; son, Joshua Wayne Hampton; sister, Susan Elaine Norwood and niece, Leiren Norwood.
