Donald Boshell, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 74.
Donald is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Deborah Boshell; his daughter, Angela Foley, and her husband, Daniel Foley, of Prattville and his cherished grandchildren, Ehlana and Wyatt Holbrook. He is also survived by his brother, John Boshell, and wife, Tammy, of Bear Creek and sister-in-law, Susie McGhee, of Bear Creek.
He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart, including Tessa Wakefield and her husband, Ben, along with their sons, Ashton and Ryder; Dawn Parrish and her husband, Robert, with their children, Brendan, Kaiden, Kaylei and Kiera and Daniel McGhee and his wife, Nicole, with their son, Bentley.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma McGee and John Henry Boshell; his brother, Lawrence Wayne McGee; his aunt, Gretchen and uncle, Jimmy Heatherly.
He will be lovingly remembered for his quick wit, his quiet strength, his deep love for his family and the many treasured memories he created with those who knew him best.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service. The family will gather privately to honor his life at a later date. Pinkard Funeral Home is assisting the family.
