She graduated from Haleyville High School before earning her Bachelor of Science from Auburn University, her Master of Science from the University of Mobile, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Alabama State University.
Juliet attended Auburn University from 1992 to 1996 and was an active member of the Epsilon Zeta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. Known for her warmth, humor, and generosity, she formed lifelong friendships and had a special way of making everyone feel valued. A proud supporter of the Auburn Tigers, she loved cheering for them and celebrated their victories with enthusiasm. During her years at Auburn, she excelled academically while leaving a lasting impact on her classmates. She guided, supported, and uplifted fellow students, taking many under her wing and inspiring them with her laughter and positivity.
Juliet dedicated her life’s work to caring for others. Over the course of her career, she helped thousands of patients find relief, strength, and healing through her skill as a physical therapist. Her gentle approach, thoughtful care, and deep compassion made her more than a practitioner to those she served. She built lasting relationships with many of her patients, offering encouragement and hope while walking alongside them in their recovery.
Juliet deeply loved her family. She cherished her parents, Walker and Sandy Dobbs, and shared a special and unbreakable bond with her brother, Nathan Dobbs, who lovingly cared for her during her battle with cancer.
Juliet was also supported by an extraordinary team of doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center who provided exceptional medical care. They admired her strength and grace and were touched by the kindness she showed even in the most difficult moments.
Juliet had a gift for connecting with people and investing in their lives. She celebrated milestones with friends and their families and loved attending their children’s sporting events, cheering them on with genuine joy. Outside of her work and time with loved ones, Juliet enjoyed walking for miles in the sunshine and found happiness in simple routines. She especially adored her loyal dog, Winston, who brought her endless comfort and companionship. Even the smallest parts of life, like tending to her yard on weekends, brought her joy and gratitude.
Her happiest place was at her family home on the Tennessee River in Florence, where she found peace in the beauty of nature, fellowship with friends, and the love of her family. She treasured sunset boat rides and evenings spent with friends by the water.
Juliet’s faith in Jesus was the foundation of her life and guided every choice she made. She believed in living with kindness and showing grace to others. Throughout her cancer journey, she displayed remarkable courage and leaned on her faith for strength and hope.
Juliet is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walker Dobbs, and her brother, Nathan Dobbs, along with many cousins and other beloved family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Dobbs and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Martin.
“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
