Lowell Landers, 83, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, August 26, 2025. He was retired from Haleyville Textile, served in the armed forces and was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2025, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, with Bro. Rickey Phifer officiating. He will lie in state from 1 - 2 p.m. before the service. Burial to follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Landers; children, Melissa "Lisa" Queen (Jerry) and Cynthia Heath (Darren); grandchildren, Tara Arnold (Chris), Clinton "Kyle" Queen, Luke Allen Queen, and Brook Heath; great-grandchildren, Rebekah, David and Elizabeth Clark and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, NG and Mattie Landers; brothers, Larry and JC and sisters, Florence Turner and Gladys Turner.
