Jerry Leon Lund, 85, of Hackleburg, passed away peacefully at his residence Monday, August 25, 2025.
Jerry was born to Luther and Gladice Lund January 14, 1940. His favorite things included farming, hummingbirds, purple martins, and flowers. He loved his family dearly, and, most of all, always made sure they were taken care of. Jerry loved God and reading his Bible. He was a strong prayer warrior and a good life teacher.
Visitation will be on Saturday August 30, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Hackleburg.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Tom (Ada) Lund, Steve Lund and Richie Lund; daughters, Vickie Davis and Angie Heatherly; great-grandson, Jason Leggitt; brother, Gene (Grace) Lund and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elean Lund; children, Alice Lund and Tim Lund and parents, Luther and Gladice Lund.
