Lloyd Carlton Tillery, 85, of Haleyville, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church, Haleyville. His funeral will begin at 2 p.m. ,with Bro. Danny Page and Dr. Ron Horton officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lavene Tillery; children, Shelly Sealy, her husband Barry; Anthony Hood, his wife Tammy; Sheila Hood; Brent Hood, his wife Felicia; Skipper Tillery, his wife Mary Ann; Chris Hood and Lisa Allen; his twin brother, Floyd Tillery; brothers and sisters, Martha Boutwell, Patty Leland, Toby Thornton and Barry Tilery; grandchildren, Nick Sealy, Chance Hood, Alisha Collins, Kayla Hood, Tara Jones, Brittany Atkins, Beverly Tillery, Tyler Hood, Skye Cavender, Victoria Petree and Ricky Reed; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Gertrude Tillery and brother, Calvin Terry.
