Brother Robert Thomas Partridge, 83, of Addison, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born February 24, 1942 to Thomas Richard and Robert Estelle Partridge. He was born crippled, but never let that get in his way of life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and doing things with his grand girls. Robert enjoyed farming, woodworking and mechanicing, but most of all, he enjoyed preaching the word of God and seeing souls saved. He preached revivals near and far as long as he was able.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Arley Congregational Christian Church (Smith School House) from 5-8 p.m., where his funeral will be held Sunday, October 5 at 2 p.m. Mr. Partridge will lie in state from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Bobby Smith and Brother David Roper will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Robert is survived by his wife of 55-and-a-half years, Sue Partridge; daughters, Rena (Ricky) Roberts, Michelle (Brent) Robertson and Miranda Partridge; granddaughters, Alayna Darty, Hannah Robertson, Alexa Darty and Kadey Robertson; sisters, Vetra (Gene) Lindley, Agnes Partridge, Rachel (HP) Owens and Hester (Carl) Williams; brother, Albert (Brenda) Partridge and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Estelle Partridge and in-laws, Benny and Eunice Guthrie.
