Gregory "Greg" Wade Pinkard, 54, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026. He was a member of Hines Memorial Baptist Church. He was retired from law enforcement, having worked with many different agencies and retired as deputy state fire marshal.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. His funeral will begin at 1 p.m., with Brandon Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Hines Memorial Cemetery, Bear Creek. Pallbearers will be Terry Zills, Josh Pinkard, Owen Pinkard, Dave Pasqualotto, Hugh Plott and Shane Whitten.
Mr. Pinkard is survived by his wife, Stephanie Gordon Pinkard; parents, Leo and Cleta Pinkard; children, Josh Pinkard (Bailey), Maggie Hovater (Colton), Jamie Hill and Owen Pinkard; sisters, Rhonda Davis (Mike) and Kristy Tidwell (Gaylon); grandchildren, Judsen Hovater and Chandler Jo Pinkard; special relative, Jayce York and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Gail Sutherland Pinkard and grandparents, Milton and Deltha Pinkard and Gene and Bertha Sutherland.
