Mrs. Dorothy Ann Smith Groce, 76, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 3, 1942 to the late Hattie Mae Smith. Dorothy confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of Russellville Church of God in Christ. She was a homemaker and a devoted member of Friendly Temple Church of God in Christ, Russellville, where she was a Church Mother
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, February 8, 2019 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville from 5-8 P.M. Her funeral will be Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Friendly Temple Church of God in Christ, Russellville, at 1 P.M. with Supt. Joe M. Bankhead officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Russellville.
Mrs. Groce leaves to cherish a loving, devoted, prayerful husband, Willie Frank Groce; six dedicated children, Frank Groce, Clifton Groce, Christopher Groce, Stevie Groce, Rita King and Jeffrey Groce; her closest relative, auntie Emma Hamilton; 25 loving and supportive grandchildren; an abundance of great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Hattie Mae Smith and one brother.
