Jeanette Lynne Neff Barton, 63, passed peacefully while surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her mother’s home in Lynn on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Her funeral was held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Gene OBrian, Chris Pschirer and John Humphres officiated the service. Burial followed in King School House Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Barton, Allen Barton, Rickey Whitten, Richard Whitten, Pat Boyd and Waylon Cagle. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Cagle and Michael Barton.
Jeanette was born on April 28, 1957, in Wyandotte, Mich. to Noel Wendell and Helen Tittle Neff. She graduated from Lynn High School in 1975. Jeanette was happily married to Travis Barton, who was her partner in life for 43 years at the time of her death.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her father, Noel Wendell Neff and her brother, Jeffrey Foster Neff.
Jeanette is survived by her mother, Helen Tittle Neff; her husband, Travis Barton; her brother, Vernon Neff (Ester Bayne); her sister, Ramie (Jeff) Sellers; her children, Travis (Virginia) Barton, Tracey (Jared) Wiginton and Trentt (Crystal) Barton; her five grandchildren, “THE GIRLS”, Breanna Barton, Amy Barton, Kaylee Wiginton, Brooke Barton and Kiera Barton; niece, Samantha Neff; a host of other family members and lifelong friends.
