Lynn and WCHS graduation ceremonies moved to 3 p.m. today

WINSTON COUNTY - Due to the potential for severe weather Tuesday evening, May 20, the graduation ceremonies for Lynn and Winston County high schools that were originally scheduled to take place this evening will both now take place at 3 p.m. today, May 20. Lynn's ceremony will be held in the gymnasium, while WCHS' ceremony will take place at Malcolm Blake Stadium. If it rains at 3 p.m., the ceremony will be moved into the gym.

DOUBLE SPRINGS - Annah Cagle Black, who served this past year as assistant Lynn High School principal, has been promoted to the role of principal, replacing Daniel Farris, who was moved to the central office during a recent meeting of the Winston County Board of Education.
