HALEYVILLE - Whitehead Unit 33 of the American Legion in Haleyville will be taking orders in August for the military banners that hang up throughout downtown Haleyville for Veteran’s Day.
Members of the Unit will be at the American Legion Post, located off of Highway 13 north, every Saturday morning in August from 9-11 a.m. to take orders.
The one-time cost for the banners is $175, which include the bracket and hardware to hang the banner. Please bring a good photograph, as well as your or your loved one's information such as years of service, branch, rank and any information you might wish to have displayed. Double-sided yard banners are an additional $30 each, and do not come with the hardware.
