WINFIELD - The Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Northwest Alabama RC&D Council will hold a pasture walk-through for residents of Winston, Walker, Fayette, Marion and Lamar counties at the Upper Coastal Plains Substation, 171 Experiment Loop, Winfield, Ala., on Friday, July 25.
Registration is needed by this Friday, July 18. Call (205) 932-8942 to register.
On-site registration begins at 8:30 a.m.. The event's hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
Topics to be covered include weed identification and management, spray calibration, stockpiling forages and fire ant control. There will also be a drone demo.
