Jerry Lee Hocking, 38, of Arley, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at his residence.
Jerry was born March 27, 1987 to Daniel and Norris Hocking. He loved being on the water and fishing was his passion. He took his role as an uncle seriously and was always there to volunteer for whatever job needed. When his most important role- Daddy- came along, he stepped into it with so much joy and pride, giving his children every ounce of love he had.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 10-11 a.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where his funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Rock Creek Cemetery.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Amara Cleveland and Alayna Hocking; son, Archie Hocking; brothers, Johnny Hocking and Buford (Steffanie) Hocking; grandmother, Lesbia Gonzalez; nephews and nieces, Braydon, Haylie, Leah, Kody, Grayson, and Emma and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tommie Ray and Shirley Hocking, Jean Hocking, and Roger Madrid.
