DOUBLE SPRINGS - Empty Bowls and full hearts will be the case when hundreds of people gather Thursday, Oct. 11, to enjoy hearty fellowship and a variety of delectable soups while raising funds to help two worthy causes.
Winston County’s eighth annual Empty Bowls dinner is expected to draw the largest crowd to the Double Springs Municipal Building in the event’s history, with proceeds divided evenly between the Winston County Arts Council and Main Street Ministries--two non-profit causes helping others in many different ways.
Attendance averages at least 400 at the Empty Bowls dinners each year.
Tickets to Empty Bowls are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under.
