Addison restaurant building fire termed suspicious

ADDISON     -  An early morning fire  on Wednesday, Dec. 9, that heavily damaged the building that formerly housed Smith’s Barbecue as well as other restaurants is being termed suspicious, after authorities found a broken window at the front of the building.
The Alabama Fire Marshal’s office is working with the Addison Police Department in investigating the ignition source of the fire, which was found by fire departments to be burning inside a broom closet in the area of the cash register, between the kitchen and restrooms, authorities on the scene said.
