Snoddy reelected as Winston County sheriff, Tidwell wins commissioner district 2
WINSTON COUNTY- Incumbent for Winston County Sheriff Caleb Snoddy was reelected to office in the May 19 primary election. Snoddy received 3,234 votes for 76.62 percent of the vote. Opponent, former Winston County sheriff, Horace Moore received 987 votes for 23.38 percent of the vote. In the race for Winston County Commission District 2, Heath Tidwell was the top vote getter with 1,003 votes for 52.96 percent, compared to opponent Taylor Stults receiving 891 votes for 47.04 percent.
