WINFIELD - COVID-19 vaccines and boosters will be available in Winfield, Friday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. while supplies last.
The University of Alabama’s Mobile Outreach Unit will be parked at Northwest Medical Center, located at 1530 US-43, to offer shots to anyone 12 and up.
There is no on-site charge. Insurance is not required, but insurance information for persons who get a vaccine and have insurance will be collected.
The sponsors of the event are the University of Alabama Medical Center, the University of Alabama Office for Research and Economic Development and the Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) Against COVID-19 Disparities.
Persons in need of a COVID vaccine or a COVID booster are welcome to stop by and get a shot to help protect themselves against the virus.
