Local students make UWA president’s list

WINSTON COUNTY - The University of West Alabama has announced nearly 500 outstanding undergraduate students named to the president's list for the spring 2025 academic semester.
The president's list gives recognition to undergraduate students with exceptionally high grades for the semester, those with grade-point averages of 3.80 or higher, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a "C."
Local students who made the list are:

Katie Washburn, of Nauvoo, majoring in early childhood and elementary education;
Samantha Maloney-Crooks, of Houston, majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
