ADDISON - Ready to preserve your harvest with confidence?
Then join the Winston County Extension Office Friday, April 10, from 1-4 p.m. at Addison First Baptist Church, located at 115 South 2nd Street, for a free hands-on workshop.
Whether you are brand-new to canning or want a refresher, this workshop will get you ready for the harvest season. Lessons taught will include:
• the water bath canning method for tomatoes;
• pressuring canning green beans;
• safe methods of canning;
• equipment basics.
Step-by-step guidance will be provided during the workshop.
