Fields of Faith May 6 in Addison

ADDISON - Just before the National Day of Prayer, a group of Addison High School students will be joined by students from surrounding schools to offer people from all over the county the opportunity to gather and worship God together.
Fields of Faith will take place Wednesday, May 6, at 6:30 p.m. on the field at A.G. Hicks Stadium in Addison.  Members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Addison High School are hosting the event.  Fields of Faith is completely student led and will feature students not just from Addison, but other schools leading each aspect of the evening.
“There will be a worship team, a band, a panel of kids answering questions and we will have a message,”  AHS student and FCA member Cannon Hyatt, who will play acoustic guitar in the band that evening, noted.  Hyatt will also be the student will will bring the message to the crowd.
Hyatt is being joined by several other students in planning Fields of Faith, including FCA member Brye Dollar, who is also in the band with him and managing the student Q&A panel.
AHS student Kinsley Nuss is managing Fields of Faith this year.  She is a proud member of FCA at Addison High.
“I really like FCA.  It’s a really good thing that we get to do - share our faith,”  Nuss said.
Fields of Faith is a certified ministry program through the national Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  It is an opportunity for athletes to gather at sports environments in their communities to challenge their peers to read the Bible daily and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His church, according to the Fields of Faith website.
All students involved in this event cordially invite everyone to come out and join them for an evening of joy and worship.
