Gail Ritchie, 64, of Nauvoo, passed away Monday June 8, 2026, at her residence.
Gail was born March 13, 1962 to Gene and Mary Harbin. She loved to spend her days traveling and helping people any way she could. She was fascinated by poetry, hummingbirds, angels and lighthouses. Gail held gardening dear to her and among them all, the tulip was her favorite flower. She could always be found taking her beloved granddaughter, Nevaeh, to so many places, both of them always going somewhere whenever they could.
Visitation will be Friday June 12, 2026, from 12-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville where her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. A graveside service and burial will follow at Ashbank Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Nauvoo. Brother Donnie Dodd will officiate.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Jazz Ritchie; granddaughter, Nevaeh Ritchie; niece, Blair Harbin; nephew, Harley Harbin; great-niece, Ezlynn Harbin and great-nephew, Dalton Harbin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Mary Harbin; husband, Jack Ritchie and brothers, David Harbin and Eugene Harbin Jr.
