NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
There will be a Public hearing by the Winston County Commission on the 11th day of March, 2019, at 8:30 a.m., Winston County Commission Office, Winston County Courthouse, Double Springs, Alabama, to receive public comment and input concerning the adoption of a proposed Resolution to implement Title 22-27-5 Code of Alabama (1975), Solid Waste Act, to provide that if the fees, charges or rates shall not be paid within thirty days after the same become due and payable the Winston County Commission, at the expiration of such thirty day period, may suspend such services, may proceed to recover the amount of any such delinquency with interest in a civil action, or proceed under Title 22-27-7 a misdemeanor charge against such delinquent account holder and, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than $50.00 nor more than $200.00 and if the violation is a continuing one, each days violation shall constitute a separate offence and shall be punished accordingly. All pursuant to Title 22-27-7 Code of Alabama (1975) Solid Waste Act.
