The Lynn Lady Bears softball team easily dispatched the Phillips She Bears 11-2 on Monday, April 1.
Breanna Barton was the winning pitcher for the Lady Bears. She lasted six innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out 13. Chloe Gilliland threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Amber Markham took the loss for Phillips. She allowed five hits and 11 runs over seven innings, striking out five.
Barton went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lynn Bears Varsity in hits.
Markham led Phillips with two hits in three at bats.
