Wesley Williams and Matthew Chambers took three fish to the scales for a total weight of 7.90 pounds, giving them a 30th place finish in the senior division field made up of 192 boats.
The Phillips Fishing Team, known as Bear Creek Bass Anglers, competed in the Alabama Students Angler Bass Fishing Association’s spring qualifier on Lake Neely Henry on March 23. Three boats were sent - one junior
division, two senior division.
Garrett Hyde and Chase Burton finished the junior division, which had a total of 14 boats. They placed 7th with a weight of 1.74 pounds from one fish.

Nic Hopson and Lathen Burton finished the senior division field of 192 boats in 126th place, weighing in one fish at 1.44 pounds. The next tournament will be the ASABFA spring qualifier held on Lake Pickwick April 20.
