HMS volleyball team goes undefeated in Russellville tourney

RUSSELLVILLE - The Haleyville Middle School volleyball team had a successful season.
Coached by Jayme Hall and assistant Brandy Hulsey, the ladies participated in the recent Russellville Invitational Volleyball Tournament. The seventh grade defeated Wilson and Deshler in two straight sets each to come out first place in pool play.
HMS faced Florence in the semi-finals and beat them in two straight to advance to the championship match.
The ladies played Russellville for the championship, defeating them in two straight sets. They did not lose a set all throughout the tournament.
“I am so proud of them and the wonderful progress they have made this year,” said Coach Hall. “They have a bright future.”
